Instagram is one of the most popular social media applications, and it made a lot of changes on the platform since its launch. While the company added the Stories feature in 2016, it was designed as an addition that appears for a limited-time (24-hour) post to other users. However, the platform improved this feature with new upgrades like the ability to add songs to your Instagram stories. This feature launched in 2018, and it allows you to share your stories more attractively. Here are the details about how to add music to an Instagram Story.
Adding music to your Instagram Story
Thanks to the Share Music on Stories feature, you can add your favorite songs to your photos or videos on your story. This feature also allowed influencers to access thousands of songs and to make easier collaborations. With the music on your story, you can share your story in a new, musical way. Instagram offers a few ways to add music to the stories such as stickers, Spotify, Apple Music, and more. If you would like to use this feature, you should update your app to the latest version. Additionally, this feature may not be available in your country. Music for Stories is available only 60 countries including the United States, France, and Turkey.
